About Doris Maria Bregolisse
Doris Maria Bregolisse spent more than three decades in the industry, winning several awards from the Broadcasters Association of British Columbia and BC Radio & TV News Directors Association (BCRTNDA).

Her first few years saw her at Shaw TV in White Rock, then Mountain FM in Squamish, and CKIQ radio in the Okanagan! She then moved into weekend news anchor/ producer at CHBC Television in Kelowna. This quickly translated into a new role hosting the Noon News. When CHBC went green screen in 2008, Doris began producing her own 30-minute feature show then transitioned to working as a reporter, covering news stories through out the Okanagan/ Similkameen and Boundary region. In 2016, Doris began producing 4 evening newscasts at Global Okanagan while anchoring the late news show. Her final job in the year before retiring in 2021, was as the flagship news anchor at 5 pm.

Doris’ professional acting roles include playing herself as a news anchor in the film about the search for Ogopogo (Beast of Bottomless Lake, 2011), in a Sir Anthony Hopkins film as an international news anchor (Zero Contact, 2022), in a Hallmark movie as a sports reporter (Checkin’ It Twice, 2023), a courtroom bailiff on CBS TV (So Help Me Todd, 2024,) and will be seen as a reporter in an upcoming Dennis Quaid limited series on Netflix (Happy Face Killer, 2025).
